LIN - The Learning Innovation Network - was established in 2007 with the aim of 'working collaboratively to enhance Learning and Teaching in Institutes of Technology'.

In the February 2010 HEA Commissioned Davies Report on SIF, The LIN Project received the highest ranking possible from the review. Of LIN, Davies reported the following: 'This well-regarded project has been important in stimulating collaboration among IoTs....The Academic Development Program is impressive......' Based on the success of LIN to date its funding has been continued.

The following level 10 modules were written, validated and piloted in various institutes.
